12. girdles to hold stomachs in, for that hourglass figure, add pointy bra
and you're set. Garter belts were much more comfortable.

10. 6
But 33% of those are only because I drove a tank, which to me was the first time I'd ever experienced the headlights switch on the floor, and the ignition switch on the dashboard (well, it was a button)

2 (panty hose, what a great invention)
3 (why did they have to move the headlight switches to the wiper thing and why did they put that on a stick across from the turn signal?)
6, 11, 12 (have one), 13 (are these not around anymore?), 14 (licorice, yum), 15 (at the drug store)

We had a coal furnace. I can still regulate the air flow in my house by how I open or close the windows and doors.

15. All but number 10
Although I do remember when telephones had no dial. You picked up the handset and told the operator who you wanted to talk to. On most of the farms you still had the crank phones.

As for #8, my grandmother had an IRON she heated on a gas burner to do her laundry. Of course, that was easier than cleaning the clothes which she did in a galvanized tub over an oval gas ring and scrubbed them on a board. Not an easy thing to do when your husband is a water well driller with the attendant mud and grease.

16. I got Five
Dad had a Chevy on which the Dimmer switch was on the floor. My first car was a 1970 Chevy pickup with the dimmer switch on the floor...

My Truck's ignition was on the dash

I have a reel lawnmower right now, two years old, so I think that item is not legitimate

I vaguely remember Air Mail Stamps

We had a Soda Fountain up until 1974 in Olney, MD, in the Drug Store.....
