3. USC needs Hawaii to win, so go Rainbows!
The BCS formula is so screwed up that even seemingly irrelevant games like this can determine the Sugar Bowl foes.

USC played Hawaii. LSU played Alabama. So believe it or not this is a critical swing game for both teams, in chasing the #2 BCS slot. LSU needs almost every game to break its way to overtake USC.

Interesting game of contrasts, blue collar Alabama's ground game vs. Timmy Chang and the pass happy Hawaiians. I have no clue what to make of this game. Alabama is a 3 point favorite.
