What is wrong with the search function?

For the last couple of days I have been trying to find a post in GD and it appears that it is only letting me search the last 24 hours. Is this normal?

1. Try the archives search

Sometimes, 24 hours is all you get in GD before the thread falls into the archives. (GD allows 20 pages of threads before archiving them.)

2. I just did a 3 day search on myself that worked fine

Be sure to change the dropdown box back to 3 days each time because it resets to 24 hours after you do the search
