What is your default channel?
You know, there's nothing on the brazillion channels out there, so you park it on something that won't annoy you while you are online, or cleaning the house, or cooking dinner. What channel do you park on?

My husband parks on the History Channel...I'll park on CNN or C-Span, depending on what's happening. More likely, I'll throw in a season of West Wing on DVD.

in a fit of jealousy!

You have GolTV? And Fox Soccer. You're my hero.

Can I come over, for like, a month?

Just during World Cup.

Then I promise I'll leave.

I have no cable. My life sucks.

Especially during the World Cup. It'd be nice to watch a match with someone who understands that yelling a lot is perfectly normal, and is not a sign of a psychotic episode.

I remember watching English Premiere League on Sports Channel when I was a kid. Of course, back then Crystal Palace and QPR were in the premiere league, so things have changed a little :P

Can't wait for the World Cup. I wonder if anyone will even score a goal against Brazil...

It's like porno to me. Yum, yum, yum.

I get most of my news from the Internets. I don't know how people can stand to watch most TV programming. Every time I try to get news, I channel-surf through so much crap I just give up.

22. CNN International
and At the Races (UK horse racing channel).

Because I watch CNN International in the UK, it was only after discovering DU about 18 months ago that I realized how different it is from CNN in the States.

I tend to switch between news and racing all day long with side trips into the Discovery Channel or the History Channel.

23. Usually it's XM radio rather than TV
Very little worth watching on TV anymore, but I've been known to leave the Xm going all day. Air America obviously being one of the favorites. Or Fungus 53, the punk channel. Or Deep Tracks 40 for some classic rock. And every once in a while just picking some channel at random and see how long I can stand it. Most have been successful except for the Opera channel and "America Right". Couldn't take more than 30 seconds of either.

26. CD or radio...
assuming I feel the need to listen to anything. People who leave the television on when they aren't actually watching it annoy me intensely, and hearing the inane drivel that most television programming consists of for very long would send me mad within a week.

Not to mention that I have central auditory processing disorder; I am unable to selectively filter my auditory input. From my perspective there's no such thing as "background noise"; it's all in the foreground (even if it's too faint for most other people to hear at all). So I tend to opt for silence as often as not.
