For practically the whole day with a pretty nasty cold (thankfully managed to nix it in time for work today), but I did manage to get to your thread (once you had left).

I think part of yesterday was pushing things a little too far on Sunday (I cooked dinner for 10 by myself), and the fact that I sort of ignored the part of the cold medication where it said "do not drink alcohol". Now there's just the occasional sniffle, and I cough a bit if I laugh (which is fairly frequently in this office).

I HATE cat vomit. x( My cat RARELY ever upchucks thank all the gods! We've been struggling to house train Tony. I don't know what we're doing wrong, but he still has his little accidents.

23. We see cat puke about once a week

It seems to come with the territory of having an older, long-haired cat. It can be amusing at times though. Once the cat began making the gagging noises indicating he was about to puke. Suddenly he began hurking in a semi-circle just like one of those lawn sprinklers. My roomie ended up running into the room to see what the commotion was because I was shrieking with laughter. :rofl:

I'm still recovering from New Years Eve. LOL

Had a pretty exciting night. I was up beginning my business taxes, getting them ready to ship to the accountants. Other than that, I did what I normally do on nights I'm busy- ignore about 20 phone calls from friends wondering, "Are you still up?", "Want to go to IHOP?", "Can I come over?", "Dude, can I borrow your Family Guy DVD set?", and "Hey, you wanna do umm..ya know.." (LOL) and of course the obligatory "Oh fuck! I forgot to check the mail!" 3 am post office run.

It's days like this when I truly do enjoy watching Tufted Titmouse and Black Caped Chickadees playing in the heated birdbath.

I remember when it used to snow 20 inches, the schools would be closed, and we go out and play in the snow. I was a kid then and I didn't have to drive on it. I'm sure watching the birds in the birdbath is rather comical!

It was raining at 4PM when I went out yesterday. There may be a layer of ice under the snow.

Since I don't have a boat anymore ~ it's trike or non-trike season ... that is all.
Which ~ btw ~ trike season is way longer than the northern boating season.

My secret? I don't really have one. I go to bed every night at the same time and get up at the same time every morning. If you have insomnia, I understand this is the best way get sleep consistently. I've never had sleeping problems, but it sure can't hurt. I hope you have a GREAT day!

I overcame a massive outbreak of moronitude (mostly my own) to get to work. I rode my bike, underestimating the travel time; forgot my key card; and the bus driver (from bike parking to work) missed her turn. One of these :crazy: days.
