1. Happy Birthday, BHN!
(mine was yesterday) :toast:

Don't plan on how to get through a whole year. Get through today. Look for the good and positive things that today has to offer, and use them to make the world a better place. Then tomorrow, do the same thing.

2. Happy Birthday my fellow Capricorn!
Edited on Mon Jan-02-06 03:34 AM by BeHereNow
Let's agree right now not to discuss
the superior nature of Capricorns on this thread...
we wouldn't want to make our fellow DUers feel bad.
Heh-heh...

8. Merci EP!
Antartica?
Anywhere far away from the neocons works for me.
I may not be able to stop getting older as time marches on,
however, I can control the company I keep as I do so
and these days, the critters are my preferred companions.
If I am not mistaken, there are more critters per square foot in
Antartica than wher I currently reside.
Great advice!
I thank you,
BHN

23. I think the debilitating effects
of religious extremism may very well outweigh the debilitating effects of peyote, but I have only anecdotal evidence to support this claim.

Advice for getting through the next year with B*sh? Just remember that there are only three more years (at the most), and he can't be selected by Diebold again.

6. I would never cry on your birthday. I am fucking happy you were born.
Advice? Naah...I ain't got no steenkin' advice. As near as I can tell, how one lives through even a week is to go to bed every night and get up every day no matter what happens in between.

In addition to that, keep TO DO lists of even the most bullshit minutia and cross it off as soon as you complete it, this way if everything else seems like shit you can at least see that you are getting things done.

20. Well crap...I knew I forgot something...
Note to self-
Retro activate list and crossing of concerning
"Change Guitar Strings."
Thanks for pointing that out!
Love to you, who are so loveable.
Don't ever think anything else, despite what
those who "practice to deceive" may want you to believe about "you" in order to
avoid and perpetuate their own self deception.
I know I need say no more about that.

31. Oy! I know how you feel!
My birthday's tomorrow and I think having a birthday at the tail end of the holiday season makes for somewhat of a draggy burnt-out feeling, especially as the years go RACING by!

Just listen to your very wise screenname and find something in the moment to SAVOR!

And have a very good day.
