Has it ever taken anyone else this long to get to 2K posts?

I'm pretty sure I joined DU in late spring/early summer of 2001. Slow and steady, right? Quality (ha) over quantity, correct?

I joined about 4 years ago and just yesterday reached 1000.

And I think I've only been in 3 or 4 flame wars in 4 years. Woot!

Check PM. Exploring the whole of DU today rather than my bookmarked links to GD, GD:P, Lounge, and LBN and I saw yr note from a day or so back. Just now responded.

Guess I am an underachiever.

Anyhow, good riddence to '05, huh? We are gonna have to compare notes some time on Fall '05 along the gulf coast. But let's get '06 off to a better start first, OK?

7. I've been here since 2001

and look at my post count.

I really do come to DU everyday. I just seldom post. In fact, when I do post someone often "welcomes" me, because of my low post count.

I don't believe we've ever met. But we are kindreds, you and I. I am here nearly EVERY day as well.
