Can we all rally around these DUers and others that have yet to post of their situation to send our support and let them know we care?

I know what it is like to face the rising waters and the devastation that you have no control over. I know how important it is to feel the love and support of DUers, to know that you are not alone.

8. Disaster narrowly averted over here

Our parking lot (I live in an apartment complex) flooded overnight because the drain was jammed up with stuff. I fixed it this morning. There wasn't any damage but the water level was very close to people's car doors, so it was a narrow thing.

Check your storm drains everybody!

But especially take care of yourselves. In the physical and psychological sense. Outdoors in inclement weather, stress, lack of sleep can all add up. I know there's no options for many of you at this point if you're moving folks and belongings to higher ground, evacing, and sandbagging. But please be good to youselves and take breathers, get some sleep, find something to smile about in the midst of this nightmare.

35. Things have gotten better in CC County

When I went to the gym, the parking lot was one big lake. They since drained it and it's normal now.

Also along the way, streets were closed off due to fallen trees - but these have all been cleared.

Support the folks along the Russian River though - they are getting hit the hardest!
