I need a good brie for this whine

okay, Grannie is half dead.

It all started on Dec. 14th when my beloved sister called me at 9PM saying she had a chest wheeze and couldn't breathe and needed me (and my husband, as I don't drive) to take her to urgent care. (Prove to me you love me kind of thing... happens all the time) Being a kind pushover, I agreed. We didn't get home until after midnight and I spent about 40 mins in a closed car with her. Why didn't I just tell her to call an ambulance???

Exactly 11 days later I came down with it. I look forward to the holidays like crazy all year, and the two weeks of vacation. Instead I've been laid very low since the day after Xmas. But I can deal with that. The rough part is my daughter and her family live with us: two year old and three month old. The baby now has it and THAT is scary. My husband has it and my son in law has it. We are misery personified. All because I don't know how to say "no."

Somebody shoot me, please.

I'm madder at myself than at her..I should have predicted this and had the cajones to just call transport for her, but in this culture we women are supposed to be nurturers and not think of ourselves.

2. My vacation has sucked too.

I've had a horrible, horrible headache all week, and apparently it's "just a tension headache". It's getting a little better, but my entire week has sucked. And I'm in a really crappy mood. And, my sister is coming to live with us to eat my food and use up my propane and not pay any bills and bring her bad crappy dogs who jump on people when they walk in the house and will scare my cat so the cat will pee in our rooms.

And I'm going to have a really crappy two months because I have to drive upwards of 5 hours every Saturday and be basically an absent parent those Saturdays. And I'm a single parent! :grr:

Sorry, LOL. Can I borrow some of your brie? I'm sure things will work out, I'm just....sigh.
