5. It sure was an asswhoopin.
They haven't missed a beat with a new coach. I know there was unrest when Nick Saban left. But they look like they belong in next year's Nat'l title race again.

6. Yep...sure didn't play like tonight like they did in the SEC Championship.
......sigh...funny I was callin' for Les Miles' balls on a platter after that sickenin' loss against Tennessee earlier in the year too. :o

7. He's got them playing like a team.
It was a well-played game from their side of the ball. It's the type of game a coach dreams of. Have they got a lot of key players coming back?

....can't wait for baseball season now...and to see how the Lady Tiger basketball team will do this year too! :bounce:

Thank you for lovin' my state...it pains me to my core what's happened down here in the last few months and the repercussions still haven't fully materialized yet I'm afraid. :(

12. It's easy to love your state.
You've got a real jewel in New Orleans. It pains me to know what people are still having to deal with down there. But thinking of the great things, I fell in love with the cuisine down there. Just don't ask me to tell the difference between Cajun and Creole dishes. ;-)

Hurricanes be damned being somewhere warm like the Gulf is a definite goal of mine.

15. Eventhough I'm a native Louisianian...
...it's a damn shame I didn't get to spend as much time down there as I'd liked to before it changed forever...I'll regret not havin' gone more often now for the rest o'my life...I'm up in the northeast corner of La...it gets hotter'n hell all the way up here...and we do cook exceptionally well too! :)

Coming from an area where blandness is a way of life, especially with food Louisiana is like a breath of fresh air. I just love it! :)

13. They did this year....after bein' down 24pts. at halftime....
....that was an extremely tough loss to stomach...I knew then the Vols had ruined our year as far as another National Championship was concerned! :P

.....Thank You..this Peach Bowl wasn't nearly as sweet as that Sugar Bowl National Championship...but it'll definitely do! :bounce: :hi:

14. Yes the Vols won but that was an aberration
Without the trauma of Katrina, I think LSU would have won easily. There was some major suckage in the Vols camp this year. :)

22. Bring back the Wave!
I know it'd be a horrible mismatch, but crikey, the Bayou Bengals played Appalachian State this year. Tulane-LSU redux would be a marquee event that New Orleans could surely use right about now. If you ask me, Wave football should be more about the tailgating than the game, at this point anyway, and no one does it quite like Tiger fans, who do not smell like corn dogs so stop saying that!

Tulane-LSU trivia: The first matchup between the two featured only one head coach; he coached both teams!

Oh yes, Mack Brown sucks great big slimy green rocks. Go USC!

23. Tulane has been playin' in Ruston at La. Tech.....
....they've been rabble rousers without a school since Katrina....lots o'fights between frat houses and the like since La. Tech offered to let Tulane have a home on their campus....and they discontinued 7 other sports at Tulane just to keep their football team...Tulane is more of a threat to LSU baseball than they ever will be in football IMO.

Appalachian State happened to win the National Championship in their division this year eventhough they lost to LSU...and USC can just suck on it all the way around! :P

As far as fans smellin' like corndogs or any other food...HEH smells like VICTORY and extremely sore losers from where I sit! GEAUX LSU! :bounce:

:toast: Happy New Year! :hi:
