What snacks are you serving for New Year's Eve?
I stupidly posted this on the wrong forum---so here it goes:

I was thinking Chex mix, Brie baked in a pastry shell, tiropetas, crudites, wasabi flavored almonds...

1. You should try chestnuts wrapped
in bacon. YUMMY! We had them on XMAS. :hi:

2. Chestnuts or Water Chestnuts?
If it's the former, do you roast them, peel them, then do the bacon? How? I can't quite envision it, never having done anything with chestnuts before.

3. I didn't make them.
My aunt's boyfriend did. Don't how he did it. They were good though, I can tell you that. :)

6. Well to be honest,
not that exact combo. Trying to be, er, silly there.

Probably just gonna use vanilla ice cream.

Happy '06 to you.

9. We're having...
Bacon-wrapped breadsticks, Chex Mix, assorted cookies, cranberry/nut/maple popcorn, mixed nuts, chili cheese pie, sweet & sour meatballs, and barbecue hamburger sandwiches. I'll also set out cheese/sausage/crackers and chips/veggies/dip.
