She hasn't been spayed yet - she is too fast to be caught by hand, too smart to be trapped. Something MUST be done! Poor baby's miserable....



...strutting around the house, purruping in the most delicious little voice, horny as a 40-balled tomcat. And she knows he's out there:



I suggested to Mrs. V. that we let her out for the evening... it's been a long time since we had a delightful litter of kittens. I got several very firm "NO"s from my dear other half.

Sigh.

I was worried about that several years ago, when we fostered other ferals, a mom w/ a new litter, and her two kittens from a previous litter, a male and a female. We couldn't catch any of them either, and the boy nailed both sister and mom. :willies: The kittens were all perfect.

I read up on it and found that dog and cat breeders often (sometimes unadvisedly) breed child to mother in order to encourage certain traits. THAT really freaks me, because the more they do it, the unhealthier is each succeeding generation. But what's the health and happiness of an animal when there's money to be made? :grr:
