Anyone else married to a party pooper?
I'm not a violent person but my husband needs a swift kick in the arse. I'm 30 years old, he's 33, and we have a 2 1/2 year old son. We NEVER, and I do mean NEVER get to go out. Even when we have a babysitter, he always finds an excuse to stay home. My sister-in-law just volunteered to take our son for the night so we can go out for New Years Eve and I accepted. I ask him what he wants to do and he hmmms and ummms and said, "I can't think of anything." I suggest going out to a club, no. I suggest going out to the movies, no, there's nothing he wants to see. I suggest going to get a nice room/suite at a hotel and spending the evening together, no, waste of money he says. So I say, "Well, what did you suggest babe?" Of course, as predicted, he says "I'd rather sit at home." I'm about ready to go postal (or these days, Walmart) on his ass. I need some EXCITEMENT!! Maybe I'll go out by my damn self.

Please tell me somebody else here feels my pain, or just lie to me if you don't.

1. Call a single girlfriend, get dressed up big, and go party

let Mr. P.P. stay home and babysit.. Buy a disposable camera and document your fun :) Let him see what he missed out on..

or get the sitter, take some of his dress-up clothes with you and "kidnap" him... He might actually like that .and you might have fun in spite of his foot dragging:)

2. I agree -- go out with your girlfriends
Just because your husband doesn't want to go out doesn't mean you can't. You'd probably have a lot of fun, feel better, and maybe not be so angry.
