2. It's a visit from my special friend.

A "visit" that usually involves aspirin and a heating pad. :P

11. I'm seriously considering it...
but I guess insurance doesn't cover it. Wouldn't want women to not get pregnant, now would we?

7. strange to be thankful for almost bleeding to death...
...but as a result i had a hysterectomy in '98. I'm one of the lucky ones.

And with what I saved on tampons and pads, which I was using for three months at an unbelievable rate, the surgery will pay for itself by 2012!

15. I'm oddly conflicted...
I hate the hassle, particularly since I'm NOT having any more children, yet I feel there's still something very sacred about my fertility. I wouldn't want to give it up prematurely.

It's a pain, but it's also a reminder of what a delightfully designed creature I am. ;)

19. I guess I wouldn't either.
But fortunately, since I'm 47, that really can't be considered premature.

21. I don't mind the menses, it's the PMS I'd like to do without
bleeding is no big deal. Moodiness, headaches, acne, etc. . . that I'd give up in a second.

My husband, however, would like to see an end to the mood swings and the PMS. :scared:
