2. I love "Etta James Rocks the House," among others.
And dig that bandaged up arm on the cover:

3. I'm only sorry I didn't
walk up the aisle to "At Last" when we were married. I chose "Ribbon In The Sky".

Did I mention that I was absolutely disgusted with Celine Dion's soulless, colorless rendition of "At Last"?

8. I did!
So I did it well enough for both of us.

I couldn't imagine a prettier song for the most magical day of my life. My friends told me later they thought it was incredible seeing me so happy to that song. Especially after knowing some of the jerks I dated before reprehensor.

10. Fudge stripe cookays, I'm so happy to read this
>Especially after knowing some of the jerks I dated before reprehensor.<

Good for you!

Now THIS is a thread that won't die, and will spontaneously combust in 3..2..1 -- "Jerks I Once Dated".

19. While I didn't walk up the aisle to 'At Last', it was the song we danced
to, for our first dance together married, at our reception... It was perfect. I had been to his 1st wedding, was there for him after his divorce, gave him dating advice while he kept asking me, 'Why can't I find anyone like you?'... 20 years later, we decided that 'we' were the right ones for each other, and said 'I Do'... 'At Last' seemed very appropriate!

6. Yeah.
I waited soooo long to adopt my baby boy. When I finally got him home, I held him close to my cheek and swayed around the kitchen to that song...for the whole night.

And..this is a perfect post to finally crack the 1000 post mark...only took me 4 years.

It's our mutual favorite, that is, off all the songs we like in common, this is perhaps the best one. :loveya:
