Fun suggestions for New Year's eve games? Add your own...
Here are a few of mine:

"Guess the Month": party goers have to guess which month an event from the last year took place in. The one with the most correct guesses wins.

Board Game tournament: Play 4 or 5 board games with a set amount of time each. Win points based on where you finish.

New Year's Charades: same as the basic charades game, but you use events from the previous year only.

"Guess My Resolution: everyone writes several New Year's Resolutions which are randomly read. Can you guess who made it?

any others??

Happy New Year, one and all!!
:hi:

1. "Drink the beer" - one of my favorite games!
You drink a beer, and if you finish it, you win another beer!

2. "Alive or Dead" - pick a bunch of famous people,
some who are still living but could be dead, and others who died in the last year. As you name them, people have to guess whether they died or are still living.

5. We always used to play "guess the resolution"
Before everyone had kids, a bunch of us used to rent a ski house in Seven Springs outside Pittsburgh. That was always a favorite game - we knew each other well enough to know who wrote what
- stop cursing (me, every year)
- invest more wisely (the skinflint)
- stop sleeping with married me (the slut)
etc

7. Yeah, I thought this one sounded particularly funny, too
b/c you could get really silly with them, like: "I resolve to stop beating my children." heheh.
