2. Sharted Wednesdy
I'm walking about 4 miles/day and I've cut off the candy.

I am going to make (read use up) the cookie dough I have lying around, though. Then once I eat it, it's gone. No more.

3. I'm continuing a diet
I lost about 40 lbs. in 2005. I am using "Body For Life" by Bill Phillips. Best diet I have ever been on. Because I don't have a gall bladder, South Beach was horrible for me. This is working so much better, and I am never hungry.

On this diet, I get a free day every 7th day, so I always get to indulge. However, for the last day of 2005, I am eating guacamole, ice cream, and maybe some pizza (but not together, yech!)

Happy dieting in 2006! :hi:

6. January 2.
The mistake people make is starting on January 1, because first of all, you need comfort food to soak up that New Year's Eve booze. And secondly, New Year's day is a holiday usually associated with good cooking.

So, January 2 for me. Ask me on January 3 how that went.

7. I plan to continue my current eating habits.
Though I, too, plan to indulge this weekend! Leftover mixed nuts, Chex Mix, and cookies from Christmas; barbecue sandwiches, potato chips and French onion dip (my annual New Year's Eve treat), and chili cheese pie.

9. Good for you!
That is an excellent step toward better health! I think that has to be harder than losing weight. I've never smoked, but I've been around lots of people trying to quit. Much love and positive thoughts to you! :hi:

10. I am in a way.
I've gotten into a bad habit of not eating the first half of the day. I've been doing it for so long that I simply have NO appetite anymore except in the night time. And I know it's messing with my metabolism and I'm not getting enough nutrients.

So what I bought ones of those jars of slim fast shake mix today, and I'm going to start making myself drink one every morning... they have a lot of vitamins and minerals that I know I need, and I remember from drinking them in the past that they don't make my stomache hurt like taking one a day vitamins do.

11. Not me
Just going to continue to do what I've been doing -- eating less. Have lost 18 pounds in less than 2 months.

12. New diet for me.
But mine is the opposite kind of diet. I have lost about 35lbs i want back, so i must add 2-2500 calories a day to my diet, primarily protien based.

Gonna be a long hard pull, but i feel so puny at 250lb.

13. No cherries for me. I'll stick to bananas.
No pun intended... :yoiks:

More exercise than diet for me... I need to rebuild muscle tone; I've atrophied a bit...
