Weird question: Is there such thing as a toxic burr?
On my drive home from Kansas City my dogs dragged in a nasty looking sharp burr into the car. I ended up resting my wrist on the burr for a few minutes, no big deal I thought. Now 4 days later it itches like a MF'er and has turned into a fairly decent sized lump on my wrist. I didn't think burrs contained any toxins, but I must be wrong.. It feels like a bad spider bite. Anyone know what's up with that? It's so obscure that even the Net has very little information.
