I clean my hard drive daily with McAfee Quick Clean, which I subscribe to annually. I also do a weekly cleaning with Window Washer, which I loaded from a disc. That helps clear out all temporary files, cookies, IE history, etc. If you can get a similar program it may be helpful. Webroot makes Window Washer. I got mine as a bundle from AOL years ago, but you may be able to buy it seperately.
