like it was yesterday. Thankfully, it was 8 years ago. Had 2 comps - Modern East Asian History and Military History to do. And a language comprehension test as well. For my first masters (Art History and Museum Training) I went the thesis route and just had to do a language exam. Hang in there - it's almost over. In fact, I'm going to say CONGRATULATIONS!!! right now.
I decided to forgo the Thesis route...but am gonna be applying to the PH.D. program next year, so gotta start getting writing samples and such together....
but so very rewarding. I'm hoping that after I retire I will be able to go on and get the PhD, but given that my daughter will only be 13 or so then, I'm not sure it will be possible. Oh well - I'll just do a lot of reading. Good luck. And try to enjoy yourself at the same time.
