I certainly like to bash MS as much as the next guy, but sometimes it is just too batshit.

The XBOX ad. Yes, that one made me wonder about the quality of their marketing department. Sure, it is supposed to be a spinning fan, or a propeller, but it's unfortunate. Bloggable stuff.


But from there on, it continues about Germanic runes. Sure, Nazis used them, but I doubt that MS does. Not so the blogger:

A mechanical part is seen as a Y-ish rune - so what?

It gets better:

Something called "Ger-Rune" by the blogger (but not existing in the Germanic rune alphabets)

is supposed to look like this desk:


I mean: :wtf: looks like a 'Z' to me. Evil letter, that.

And finally, VS' Möbius strip/infinity symbol is supposed to look like that 'S' rune.


Hmm. I wonder where that comes from. The Integral sign? maybe. The Latin 'S'? possibly. But the rune? :
