The Time Traveler's Wife

Has anyone else read this.

I just started it and I cannot put it down.

1. I loved that book.
Loved it.

The trick, as my friend pointed out, is to follow the story from the woman's perspective. The guy is too all over the place...once I did that I think I read it straight through. I love it.

2. Yes, that is how I am reading it...
His parts just illuminate hers.

and the fact that it takes place in Chicago in all my old haunts helps out a bit :D

How ya doing?

7. hello
:loveya:

I'm going to check out the book on your and RL's recommendation. I love a good read and I don't mind crying, either. (I just watched Big Fish with my Dad on his birthday, so I ain't afraid to cry!)

I just got a book called The Eyre Affair, by Jasper Fforde, as an early Christmas present. It looks interesting. Have you heard of it?

See ya. :hi:

4. I finished it about a month ago
And I'm still haunted by it. I also read it from the wife's perspective although at the end... when his worst fears are realized... I couldn't get that visual out of my head.

aaaaaggh. Now I'm going to be useless again at work while I moon about the book for the rest of the day.

6. I'm going to look for the book.
If both you and progmom like it, that's a solid recommendation. Have you read The Eyre Affair? I just got it for Christmas (from a work colleague, so I got to open it early) and it sounds good. :hi:
