This was written and produced by Paul Shaffer and Paul Jabara. Shaffer is David Letterman's bandleader; Jabara wrote "Last Dance" and "No More Tears" for Donna Summer.

Hard to believe!! LOL

Anyone remember his sitcom "A Year at the Top" with Greg Evigan from BJ and the Bear? They played musicians who sold their soul to the devil for a year at the top of the music biz, playing their horrid, awful music to tormented souls here on earth.

Dave's kind enough to never mention it... if it were me, I'd rub Paul's nose in that shit every chance I got.
