Anyone see 60 Minutes last night?

Anyone else outraged at the Gretna PD and the mayor of Gretna? I know this is old news but I sure got mad all over again.

1. I saw it.

They sure were making all sorts of excuses as to why they did that. At one point that mayor of Gretna said there were "criminal elements" and "terror elements" in the group that got turned away. It was mostly old ladies and children. Now they seem to be trying to convince us that eldery American people and children are terrorists? I don't get it.

I was incensed that he would not answer any of Ed Bradley's questions...just evasive maneuvers. He must have served in the Texas Air National Guard during the Vietnam War :sarcasm:

3. Ed Bradley certainly did a good job trying to get some answers though,

didn't he? That's about the hardest I have seen anyone try in a long time.

4. I have always respected Ed Bradley as a Journalist.

My husband can attest to the fact that I was screaming at the TV for most of the mayor segment.

5. I was saying, "get him Bradley."

He really did try to get some kind of answer out of the guy.

There were a lot of shenanigans going on during that time. White supremacists were offering help to whites only. I can't remember where the link is now, but recently on Yahoo there was a story talking about how many of the victims who died have fatal gunshot wounds, stabbings, and other deaths not related to the storm. This current government will never let all of the truth out either. It infuriates me.
