Let me say it here, let me say it proud.

I love sleep. I love being asleep. I love the twilight time as I'm falling asleep when I rewrite the ending of a book I just read, or rewrite my day or parts of my life, or just make something up. I love waking up and realizing that I don't have to be up for another 2-3 hours, and just sinking back down into complete relaxation and bliss. The only thing I ever found even close was cocaine, and I haven't done that in almost 20 years.

3. Jeez, insomnia? I'm so sorry for you.

The biggest blessing in my life has been my ability to sleep. When ever I'm really depressed I have a hard time staying awake, which is a little scary driving in traffic.

sleep. I too find myself exuberant when I wake up and know that I can sleep a couple more hours before getting up. It is sheer bliss.
