Guilty pleasure NetFlix recommendation
modern noir "Goodbye Lover" . It's a few years old. Fun in a trashy way. Patricia Arquette, with a wicked wardrobe, as the femme fatale. Don Johnson at his smarmiest. (And that's smarmy). Recent Daily Show guest Dermot Mulrooney. The always good Mary Louise Parker. And a droll Ellen DeGeneres as a detective. (plus her partner is an actor whose name I don't know...but he was in one of my favorite Northern Exposure episodes as a lonely, and talkative, forest ranger assigned to a fire station tower.
Guilty pleasure in all respects. Sexy. Witty. Twisty.
And you gotta give points to a movie that uses "The Sound of Music" as background for dirty deeds.
(ladies. a warning: this movie could cause you to run out and buy "come f**k me pumps" )
