I refuse to reply to messages from people who type " Wut " as " what " and " u " as " you . It gets on my nerves and turns me off . What happened to the English language ?

Of course, if two friends want to do this, that's fine - but when writing to a stranger, leave out the cute shit and act like a mature human being.

This "2bad4u" shit has started to cost me friends, BTW. When I see "a card 4 u!" on an envelope, I have the mailman return to sender. I can be a major-league asshole on this issue and I am not interested in being flexible on it, either. You have to pick your battles, true, but I've chosen this one.

I have also set my e-mail filters to send any instances of "4 u" or anything similar straight to the trash. If you can't write to me like a fucking adult, you can sit on something sharp and spin.

I hate that kind of drivel. I can understand misspellings, or if someone is legitimately semi-literate, but that is just lazy. It makes me picture the author as some crude, Hutt-ish thing.
