1. They were on the Royal Variety Performance

at the weekend and did this amazing thing with gumballs. I thought they were made up by the "Arrested Development" writers until I saw a full-page ad a month or so ago for their UK tour. I really wish I could have gone.

Thanks for the link - I'm off to check it out!

2. Blue Man Group is just a rip-off of The Smurfs...

3. Primate1, I have to hurt you now.

Blue Man Group rocks! :headbang:

Though admittedly some shows are better than others, it depends on the locale I guess. The Boston BMG had a beautiful, tight performance, like clockwork. The Chicago BMG, in the same show, lacked the precision and focus. Really threw the whole "experience" off, IMHO.

4. Boston is the only one I've seen
It was great. A bit tight comfort-wise, but still a really well-done show

5. Haha, it was a Simpsons reference, so if you have to hurt anyone...
It should be Homer. Or Matt Groening. Or Ian Maxtone Graham (or whoever's writing the episodes these days).

6. My m-i-l is getting tickets to the BMG show in Toronto for...
...my (might as well be) repug father-in-law. She might be getting one for me too since I mentioned an interest in it.

I hope I get to go with him.... it might be fun to watch his head implode if they do something like this.
