I picked the worst day to fly
Stuck in Atlanta right now waiting for de-icing (to take place- allegedly- two hours after the scheduled departure). I just have an awful feeling this one will cancel too. I do think it is supposed to warm up a little.

It all began yesterday when I got to the airport, only to find that the 930 and 1045 flights had been delayed because the Houton Airport was closed due to storms. I finally get on a flight that was six hours late at abot 3 pm. I get to Houston; the flight is delayed two hours so I missed the connecting flight to Hartford. I do, however get a "discount" voucher for a hotel room. SO I end up paying $50 for a hotel room that I use for four hours. Plus the shuttle bus takes forever to get there so I don't get to the hotel unti 2 am but hey, at least it's a bed. Not that I can sleep. Get up at 6 to get to the airport in plenty of time only to find out we are delayed 3 hours as of right now. I only have two chances to make the Hartford flight, once at three and once at 6 pm. I better not get fucking stuck in goddamn Cleveland tonight or these people are going to give me a fucking refund. What a mess.

Press for all you can get out of the airline. They must compensate you for your trouble, even if the weather's the culprit. That's MO, anyway.

Good luck.

4. I don't know if they will do much
But if I happen to get stuck in Cleveland I think they should pick up the tab for a room at least.

2. Sorry that you are stuck in our fair city.
But the weather is horrible, so I can see why your flight is delayed.

3. I used to live in Atlanta
I went to high school in Cobb county, land of Newt. But the airport is unrecognizable today. It seemed more confusing than most or maybe I was just tired. It has just been a long, long couple of days.
