1. are those baked beans?
i can't say i've ever heard of baked beans for breakfast before.

i believe that would really map out your day effectively though, what with the sausage and eggs and all...

Three's good. Scrambled. With cheese and chorizo.

Four hunks o' Texas toast dripping with butter. Not margarine.

Hash browns, and not those microwaved frozen suckers. :grr:

And a bowl o' grits. :bounce:

31. Does that mean that I'm morally obliged to start
a Daily Mail-esque pogrom to get you kicked-out, shot, flayed, or similar?

I do hope not.

I'm sure that vegetarianism counts as a very bad thing in their world too.

49. If Britain really is the place that the Daily Mail thinks it is
then I certainly wouldn't want to live here. Man, whilst The Sun is only fit to wipe one's arse with, the Daily Mail isn't even fit for that purpose.

53. I'll take that as a 'no' then.
Which is rather good because then I can go right back to my usual flirtation and flattery. If it pisses off the Mail - then so much the better. :loveya:  :pals:

That said, I still think that the Sun is worse - not least because it's Murdoch controlled. Though the Mail does have a ridiculous veneer of respectability, which makes its bile and hatred even worse.

Lots of vegetarians here. I would say Germans love meat much more than we do. And the French are even more carnivorous.

51. I dislike overcooked vegetables
although I don't suppose poorly cooked vegetables are confined to the U.K. In my experience meat-eaters often don't treat their vegetables with respect, which I expect is because they see them only as ballast to go with the main part of the meal.

30. There's nothing like a proper English breakfast
and that's nothing like a proper English breakfast. But some good real sausages, bacon, eggs (scrambled for me), black-pudding, fried tomatoes, and fried bread - very very yummy indeed.

Though it has to be said that practically none of us eat it on anything like a regular basis.
