1. I'm usually psycho about spelling errors.. BUT..

Typos and transcribed letters dont really warrant a "USE THE DAMN SPELL CHECKER IDIOT". I type way too fast and I'll write thinsg instead of things, etc. I only use spell check when I'm writing a document. Even then, its not perfect.

2. If it's a really, really lame error, or there's a post with a LOT of

them, I'll tell someone they don't even need to learn how to spell, just click the check spelling button.

If it's the rare occasional error, I'll ignore it. I only point it out if it really, really irks me. :P

4. Oh definitely, - pointing out the typo.

I have a saying I've drummed into my debate classes and dusted off in another internet group where I sometimes post:
