4. Yes but with a qualification
if this is going to be a big meetup then it is likely to turn into a go and get drunk at a club sort of thing, which I would not be able to participate in. I don't drink, and I would feel uncomfortable going to a place that exists specifically for serving alcohol. If that was what the meetup was going to be, I would have to decline.

5. it doesn't has to be
I just want a feed back from the people for now. And I don't want people to feel left out if you understand what I mean.

I also can have a great time without getting drunk, I prefer that anyway to being drunk.

6. That's why I thought I should say so now
rather than later. I am more of a morning and daytime person than an evening and nighttime person.

16. Can be
What I would most like to do would be to go and stay with friends, and hang with them all day.

If we are talking about a big gathering then that will not work. I guess I am basically ruling myself out of a big meetup, particularly one in a foreign country.

12. Talk to JimmyJazz, she goes and she doesn't drink
A bar/pub is the best place for meeting because we can grab a table or room, sit around and eat some munchies and have some drinks. I haven't been to a major drunkfest DU party since some of those earlier Philly ones. The last several events I've gone with JimmyJazz and she doesn't drink but we all still have a great time

15. Yes, drinking in a bar is not mandatory
but I would still feel uncomfortable about going to such a place, especially in the evening. There's no real way I explain this, it's a consciousness thing. I wouldn't do it. I am very strict with myself. Also I am not into going out in the evening at all.

18. My only thing is I'm weird about going to strangers homes
I'm sure we can find a common ground. Hell if people are travelling all the way to Europe, surely we'll have more than a 3 hour gathering. Something could be organized for the afternoon at a local coffee shop and then that evening for those of us who want to go out and do something else.

19. If lots of people come for a big meetup
then it will surely happen exactly as you envisage. That's cool. I just probably won't attend, that's all.

If it was a small gathering but you were nonetheless coming all the way from the States then we would of course bend over backwards to accommodate you.
