I just talked with Dr. D in Bangalore, India. GREAT CONNECTION!
She had nightmares last night (curry). Actually, my call waked her. I called at 9 pm EST, which was 7:30 am in central India (10+30 difference). She will call me 9-10 pm India time (today? tomorrow?), which will be my wake-up here. She said that the best areas she has seen in Bangalore remind her of the poverty-stricken areas of Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).

I'm wishing now I had accompanied her to India. I think I'll go to Moscow with her. And I'll definitely go to SE Asia, my old stomping grounds.
