Imagine
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day, you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no posessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will live as one

25 years ago today.

Um, hate to break this to you, but he's dead. He can't come back.
We've had people for 2000 years trying to say the truth and put things to rights.

It's up to the rest of us to carry on his spirit. And that is the one thing that would make him proud.

4. Yeah, I know.
It's still sad. I never got to "know" him anyway...My parents weren't even married in '80. :D But his spirit still lives on in his music, of course.

3. when i think of the shame of Johns death a Marley verse comes to mind
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? ooh!
Some say it’s just a part of it:
We’ve got to fulfil de book.

5. Oh god...
I love Marley! And "Get Up, Stand Up!" is one of my favorites of his songs.

A :toast: to them both.
