7. It's friggin' great
The best days are when the boss doesn't even call me or stop by. They just forget about me, it's awesome. More time to just sit in front of my monitor and space out for hours at a time.

The best way to treat a competent and experienced employee is to give them maximum space. If you don't need direction, don't seek it out. That's just asking for trouble.
