1. Didn't anybody ever tinker with their Commodore 64?

SYS 64738 would reset the machine as if you powered it off and turned it back on.
POKE 53280, 0 would make the border of the screen black.
POKE 53281, 1 would make the background of the screen white.

I played some games on a Commodore 64, but I didn't start programming until well into the age of x86.
