Question for the computer geeks

I think I've changed a setting somewhere and I don't know how to fix it. You know how you can go to "my pictures" and click on one and say you want to e-mail it to someone, and then the message pops up that says do you want to keep the original size or make it smaller? Suddenly I'm not being given that option, and my pictures are HUGE. I don't want to have to run them all through the my PaintShop to make them smaller. Why am I not getting that prompt anymore?

1. Open My Pictures

Go to tools at the top
Click on Folder Options
Click on View tab
Click display file size (2nd box down)
That should work

2. That didn't work

The "display file size" was already clicked. I'm wondering if this doesn't have something to do with my new camera's photo processing software that I downloaded. I didn't have this problem before that.
