2. We had a wonderful Dutch butter bakery in my town

I know, butter and all that. But it was simply the best, 6 days a week

Then the A&P supermarket chain redid their piece of crap store over and made it stunningly beautiful (the prices are super high, never a bargain, and all of the Republitrolls shop there) with a complete on demand bakery. Cut the prices to nothing, sold everything the little bakery sold, and put it out of business in the Spring.

Now the bakery makes what it wants at high prices, no more birthday or special occasion cakes except the stupid Carvel ice cream cakes in the freezer, and another great small business is destroyed.

I will not shop there, for anything. I'll drive 20 minutes in blinding rain and snow to buy somewhere else.

I miss their croissants on Sunday mornings.:cry:
