Good Monday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Here we are at the start of the second week of December! I hope all of you had a great weekend and are ready to go back to work today! :rofl: I'm not ready, but you know...what can you do? :shrug:

1. Good morning Clintmax
after being able to sleep in the last two days I had my usual Monday morning troubles to move my ass out of bed. But I made it somehow.

:hug::hi:
How was your trip to your Mom's? I hope you had a great time! I know how you feel about not wanting to get out of bed after you've been able to sleep in. I think everybody has trouble like that.

Yes, I'm sure you had your hands full! But if you had taken the car, you wouldn't have had as much time with your Mom would you? I mean, you would have had to leave earlier to get back home, right? I think you made the right decision.

I just didn't feel like driving at all this weekend (which is new to me since I normally LOVE driving). But it was raining the whole Sunday, and driving in the dark when it is raining is pretty much the only time that i despise driving.

I hate to drive long distances. I'd rather fly. Driving from Florida back to Missouri (which is where I grew up) takes almost 17 hours! I've driven it straight through before and let me just say...that SUCKS! :rofl:

2. G'morning Clintmax!
I'm doing okay, I guess. I fell asleep last night at around 6:30 pm and got up at 4:00 this morning. x( I had a geology report I needed to type up that I've been putting off for far too long! x(

Oh well. I think I can get it done today. :)

9. Yeah, I was tired.
I've been really tired for the past month. No matter how much sleep I get, I'm still tired. I don't get it. :shrug:

I don't really have a "normal" bed time. I usually fall asleep when my body wants too...sometimes it's at 11 pm, other times it could be at 4 am. My circadian rhythms are way off.

11. 11 is my bedtime too.
I can tell you that if you go to bed at the same time every night, it will help your body clock set itself to that time. People with insomnia are told to do this also. Go to bed at the same time every night, regardless what day it is and whether or not you have to work or go to school the next morning.

6. Good morning Clint.
:hi:

Happy Monday to you.

Work isn't too bad, and I've started on a mini Bach marathon - I'm listening to his entire organ works, onto the second C.D. of 20 at the moment - should keep me going for a fair while.

Hope that all's most enjoyable in Clint-land. :hug: :loveya:

7. Hello, TJ!
:hug::pals:
Happy Monday to you too! I'm currently listening to christmas music. I have some very nice versions that I like to listen to to help me get into the spirit.

When you listen to music there at work, do you wear headphones or do you play it out loud on a stereo?

12. I always use head-phones.
I share my office with three others - I think it simple curtesy not to inflict my choice of music on them, and they use head-phones if they ever listen to music.

Part of this is that my taste is not exactly of uniform appeal (as you know), I did play some once (at their suggestion) and got looks of literal shock that such music had been written - recorded - and even more so enjoyed. Also, it works both ways, I have no desire at all to listen to the mass-produced corporate pop-nonsense which they like.

On the occasional days that it's just me in the office then we do go onto speakers because it's easier if moving around &c.

Greekspeak likes jazz, doo wop and 50's music. I don't, so I wear headphones so he doesn't have to hear it too. It's common courtesy in my book.

23. I know how irritating I find some people's choice of music
and so I can imagine how irritating they would find mine (especially some of the more 'hard-core' stuff).

I think that people who drive along playing music very loudly in their cars should be summarily executed - not wishing to sound too harsh or anything, but a dash of courtesy for other road-users......

I had to work on Saturday, but I didn't on Sunday. It was just a lazy day here at home, which is cool with me.

Looks like I'm going to be alone this holiday. Greekspeak has a family member with a lot of health problems and has to go help take care of him. So, it will just be me here.

Rent some good DVDs, cook some yummy food, stock up on some tasty wine, read a great book, knock out a project at home that brightens and beautifies your living space, and just hang. I work at home so I've learned to make the most of my "off" time, so I hope you don't mind my free and worth the price you paid for it advice!
