2. Give me a lot of NIN, some Candlebox, a decent dose of Oasis...
And a little 311 background noise thank you. :-)

4. Speaking of NIN
I've been listing to NIN non-stop all week. Just digitized all the albums & remixes (official HALOs only) and have been listening to them in order on a loop.
It kinda gets to you after a while. Instead of humming, I'm finding myself making little grunting and 'Bzzzts Krrrr' noises along to the music.

Joy.

:P

7. No, it was because of all the girls wearing clothes....
Don't you know the hormones that are unleashed...

All those guys walking through the halls with their books in front....

Why of Why did Judy Plume have to sit so close in Geometry class.......

8. I wasn't lucky enough for a NIN high school.
Graduated too early for Trent. Listening to him like crazy since The Downward Spiral though...

11. I must be getting old because I don't recognize but three of your LPs
Or are they CDs?

My high school days were rather hard I guess: Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin... the 1970s.

I guess they'd be cd's.

These aren't necessarily bands I liked at the time. (In fact, I dislike most of them to tell the truth.) They're just bands I remember being popular among various cliques.

13. I must be a really old fart because I only recognize one.

My high school days were pre-Beatles.

I recognize "Counting Crows" only because my younger wife has the CD (and I like it).

Oh, and aside from the music, high school was pretty easy for me - an age of innocence, a time of confidences - mostly good memories.

14. THIS is how hard it was for me -

and not because the material was too complex - I had ADHD and went to a high school full of assholes and dickhead teachers. The more I studied, the worse I did. Concentration problems combined with unpopularity ruined what should have been a good time.
