9. Yes, I had one. He told me to fuck off regularly!
But he also told me he loved me at least twice as often.

He was the smartest dog I've ever known.

11. Extremely loyal and full of love. They're so funny when pups,
big feet, big ears and clumsy as all get out. The female shepard is my favorite of all dogs.

I have a male and he's pretty old now. Gretzky, is a male dominate dog to a fault. If you know what I mean.

13. Mine was a male, also. He had the Malamute, who was almost twice
his size, completely cowed. Never did that Malamute figure out that he could whup the Sheperd's tail.

They were happy farm dogs, and lived a great life, running and playing almost constantly.

Weird thing about the Shepherd, though, was that he loved to pick up rocks in his mouth. We couldn't get him to stop, and it began to wear down his teeth.

I'd love to have another shepherd.

14. I think the Malamute would have booked a looser.
Shepards are extremely fast. Especially the female. I know of no dog that could whip a female German shepard. Maybe, just maybe a pitbull. The Police K-9 owners I've talk too, believe that the Shepard would prevail, providing the Pitbull didn't get a hold first. I don't like to see anything fight.

I once saw a sick old, I mean old, German Shepard take down a young Blue Tick Hound in his prime in less than twenty seconds. Had to see it to beleive it!! If I were to had bet, I would have lost.

15. You may be right. He was a farm dog, and dispatched wtih groundhogs
in about 6 second. Threw them up in the air, and when they landed, they were, well, let's say, unable to eat the broccoli crop anymore.

The Malamute was just a sweet boy, always, and rarely participated in those groundhog hunts, except as a rapt observer.

20. Had this Shepperd that didn't like raccoons. His name was Smokey.
One thing Raccoons indeed like are Cherries. Late at night the raccoons would come and visit the cherry trees. Smokey would usually tree one, in a wild attempt to catch 'em all. Sometime he's stay at the same tree for days until other Raccoons would come and distract Smokey so their buddy could escape. It wasn't nice to embarrass Smokey and only enhance his hatred while the Raccoon would die laughing.

One dog will hardly ever catch a raccoon. Two smarts ones will have better success.

30. Raccoons were my Shepherd's big enemy, too!
Glad he never caught one, though!

They can be really mean in a fight.

31. Smokey showed no mercy on the Raccoon babies.
Never known if Smokey ever caught an adult raccoon. They are one smart animal.

Not that yours isn't cute. All the dogs on this thread are so cute I want to cry. But there is something about welsh terriers that breaks my heart in half.
