Training a rescued cat. Help!
A skinny older kitten wandered out of a field near where I work. He was sooo skinny that I just had to rescue him. Anyway, he sometimes goes in the litter like our other 2 cats, but sometimes he just goes wherever he wants too.

Anybody got any advice?

1. Hi there! Here's some advice:
1. Make sure he's neutered.

2. Use two litter boxes!! almost a must in houses w/ more than ONE cat, with more than two it is essential. (We have one per cat plus one. Oh. My. God.)

3. Get some litter for the new box that's called "Cat Attract" or something similar. Once he's well trained, you can switch to the regular stuff.

Good on you, and good luck!

2. Thank you so much!
We were supposed to get lil Murton neutered a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully we can do so very soon.

Lil Murton is the funnest pet I have ever had. He has endless energy and follows me around like a puppy.

Thanks again. I will heed your advice!

4. He is a light orange. We call him the color of a dreamsicle!
He has calmed down now, but when he first arrived he was quite the terror! Never saw a cat run faster or jump higher than Murton!
