(Though I have to say, her duet with Dave Matthews on that Johnny Cash tribute concert show was about the most unfortunate thing I've ever seen. I thought she could harmonize with anyone, but that was an unmitigated disaster.)

I have more albums of Emmylou than any other musical artist. Her voice is incredible and yes, she is incredibly gorgeous.

I used to want to be her, she seems so genuine. You can see from the list below that I followed her a lot more closely
when she first came on the scene. It was her song Tulsa Queen that really got to me. Never heard anything like it before,
or since.

I only discovered Emmylou's music about three or four years ago, and within a year after checking out a compilation cd from the library I purchased her albums that are still in print. I almost universally prefer her interpretations of songs to the originals. For me, she is a brilliant singer and has an impeccable taste in country and folk songs. Because of Emmylou and Gram Parsons, I prefer country to pop or rock nowadays.

yes. what can you say about a woman who sounds so good on vinyl and inspires lovers to let the world slip away? she's been there through so many different phases of my life. but, i have to say, her presence now is by far, the best yet. unless, there's more that i haven't experienced . . . :loveya:
