I spent hours (well minutes even) looking for a pair of frames that were a little edgy, a little "cool", but not "catseye-ish", because I don't like the way they look on me. They said it would be 5-7 days, and I ended up walking around with my welded (thanks MrG!)together old ones for 11 days. Oh well. They came in today, I went and got them...and thought I looked pretty "hot" for a four eyes...I get home and MrG looks at me and says,"So you went for the catseye look, eh? I like them". So I am happy and sad (not to mention superficial) because he likes them...but now I don't. :(

5. I remember my very first pair of glasses

It was 1965. There were only two types of frames available for girls - "blue" catseye or "pink" catseye. Decisions... decisions.
