Poll question: Chicago Vs. New York (pizza)
Be it Chicago-style thick or New York-style thin, people love pizza. But the two methods of making the famous pie have been butting heads for years. What do you prefer, Chicago or New York style pizza?

1. Why fight? Put a slice of each on my plate and leave me alone.
;)

Seriously, sometimes I'm in the mood for one, and sometimes the other.

2. Chicago pizza, but not the stuffed kind
the cheap, $5 kind that's got the thick, doughy crust, lots of cheese, and is impossible to find outside Chicago/northern IL.

6. Yes.
To put it another way, Chicago is to pizza what the Cubs are to the Yankees.

7. I'm from Chicago and I have tasted extensively
NY is much better.

An analogy - what kind of bread do you like? Big mushy stuff of good crusty bread?

BTW--What is that coal oven pizza place in Brooklyn? My sister brought ne there and it was the best pizza I had in my life.

8. Chicago is nice as a novelty...but NY has the best everything, tis true.
I've had Chicago once or twice, and it was weird. Still tasty, though.

Can't find it ever since that one place closed down, and this is going back about 15 years.

NY pizza, heck yeah. Anytime.

You really can't go wrong with pizza.
