Leaving on cruise tomorrow. I'm a little worried.
No, I can handle the fact that I'm traveling with my Republican family. ;) My husband and I wouldn't have chosen a cruise as a vacation but the trip is a gift from my uncle to my mother -- she and her seven children and step-children and spouses will be in our party of 15.

I'm worried because I got tickets to the Big XII championship game in Houston at noon the day we arrive in Galveston at 7 a.m. I've been reading horror stories about disembarking in Galveston. We'll ask to be in the first group to leave but anyone have any stories or advice about cruising out of Galveston? We parked at a lot with shuttle service.

We're going on the Grand Princess and visiting Costa Maya, Belize, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. We haven't booked any excursions.

Thanks!

2. Be more concerned
that you're out of town, and I know where your kick-ass Mustang is parked.

I kid, but I appreicate a fine automobile.

Have fun, I hope.

3. Uh-oh!
I should take it with me but it's too small for all of our luggage and my brother and his luggage. :)

My son is making noises about buying the Mustang back when he comes back from Japan next August. He's the one who bought it in the first place; then, while he was in Marine bootcamp, we all realized that he couldn't afford it. If he gets stationed in California -- and gets to stay there rather than go to Iraq :( -- he thinks it will fit in nicely. :)

Thanks! :hi:

4. You'll love the cruise
I had a great time on the Norwegian Star in May, cruising to Alaska. Make sure you look for online reviews of that specific ship and itinerary. They should provide helpful hints, including which restaurants and activities are best, plus shore time recommendations.
