Donald Trump is an amoral scumbag
A blight on the American landscape. The very epitome of our absolute materialistic, money hungry society. Just had to get that off my chest.

No repeat of the smackdown that happened at my son's birthday party. I had much to be thankful for. Now I'm supposed to be working, but this report is irritating me. The city website wants to charge me to access property info. Grr.

On edit:  :hi:

12. I actually like - or at least appreciate - The Donald. He's genuine.
Never a fake, never offering a side of The Donald that isn't real, never pretending to be something other than what he is. And he has a great sense of humor, even self-deprecating.

That said, I wish he would consider the ramifications to the social structure of some of the shit that he does.

Edited on Fri Nov-25-05 09:21 PM by Rabrrrrrr
He's just a good businessman who was willing to take some major risks many years ago, and he surrounds himself with excellent people who know what they're doing and casts off the detritus.

As a caveat, though, we do need to remember that his dad did co-sign his first loan, and his dad went on also to be a hugely wealthy real estate developer.

17. by having fred trump as a father?
donald didn't earn any money

he had a slum landlord as a father and as far as what he does w. other people's money and investments, well, he just declared bankruptcy so he wouldn't have to pay his bills yet again

enjoy him for the entertainment value but he is not a bit different from paris hilton

18. I didn't mean he came from humble beginnings.
But he is a smart guy who takes risks with his money. I do think he's a massive ego freak and quite sad in his own way, but he's several degrees above Paris Hilton.

he don't have any money to take risks with

in the immortal words of the author of casino 101 -- you have more money than donald trump

the dude is a total con artist

even his limo driver laughs at him, at least when he's talking to a blonde

29. He takes risks with OTHER PEOPLES' money!
He has not risked a dime of his own.

He expects people to work for him for FREE just because they can say that "the donald" is a client of theirs.

I know - he tries to do that with our company - and we've had an ongoing fight for this for the past two years.

25. He also likes to declare bankruptcy... and how he "earns" his money
seems to be from gambling and selling books to pure grade-A rubes on how to make money...

HE is a pyramid scheme.

27. But he still makes money.
It may not be in the most honorable fashion, but he still attempts to do something. He doesn't sit on his butt all day like Paris Hilton does.

28. Don't tell any of the thousands he's screwed everytime he went bankrupt
and got out of paying them what they were justly due.

Usually the small business person.

He's a wealthy scum sucking leech who keeps getting second, third and fourth chances when the rest of us are left with the new repuke capatalist "compassionate" banking laws.

He's made his millions unjustly on the backs of the lessor folk and continues to do it.

How many times has he gone bankrupt and gotten out of paying his debts?

31. Once again, I'm not calling him a saint.
I don't even like the guy. However, he has made money -- yes, through some duplicitous means -- but the point is he at least made that money by his own initiative instead of sitting on inherited money like Paris Hilton.

And if you're going to criticize Trump for making millions off less fortunate people, you'd have to criticize a lot more people than just him. It is the American Way, after all.

some hair that doesn't look like a spavined badger with a bad case of the mange climbed up on his head and died.

21. He's building some damn ego monument to himself here in Chicago.
It's going to be taller than the John Hancock building. And, given there's a glut of office space here, the damn thing will probably be half occupied. But at least "The Donald" will have another ego gratification (or maybe, given how tall it will be, another compensation for a small penis? :-))

26. OPM or not, ne could bury the expense in some office-supply account
or something.

I'd rather shave my damn head than have that manky excuse for hair that he has.

But that's just me. I've gotten into my fifties with a full head o'hair that's still black (and would rather have that than be rich), so I can't truthfully say what I'd do if it started falling out.
