5. I took the tape to my sister's house today

Taped it when Nick At Nite had a KRP marathon about five years ago. We watched it after vittles. I'd forgotten how funny it was — not just that one line, but the entire Pinedale Shopping Mall Catastrophe.

6. my flying turkey story

Walking around my property with my first dog. We came to a clearing, and I started playing fetch with her. I threw a stick and she went and got it, but as usual did not want to give it up. So I am playing tug of war and just in general chasing her around and trying to grab the stick out of her mouth. So I decide to do my duck call because it jazzes her up. It sounds a little like a kazoo. So I jump at her, legs spread apart, arms outstretched and make that loud "qukkkkkkkk" and from about four feet behind her a turkey just explodes into flight from out of the long grass. It sounded a little bit like a lawn-mower starting up. Scared the crap out of both of us. She's standing there with her mouth hanging open :wow: and I am cracking up :rofl: Thinking "some bloodhound you are. How could you not know that was there?"

So yes, Big Guy, turkeys can fly. But the commercial ones get their wings clipped so the turkey farmer's inventory does not fly away.
