Listen people... the day after Thanksgiving is NOT the biggest...

... shopping day of the year.

It sometimes ranks fifth, but sometimes it is much lower than that. The number one shopping day of the year is (usually) either the Saturday or Sunday before Christmas.

You may disagree with me, but I have the facts on my side.

1. It's not the biggest day but it's the start of the biggest period.

Most retail businesses make most of their annual sales from the 26th of November to the 26th of December.
