Wish we had known beforehand; you'd be more than welcome to come by for turkey & all that. This is the first time in 5 years it's been just us and the kids. Not that there's anything wrong with that; we just feel that Thanksgiving is for sharing...

The trip from Hell, (read VA to NJ) took place on Monday. and now we are in the city, enjoying the little ones.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday. It is a tad different for me, going to a restaurant, but new things aren't necessarily bad.

I think I will LOVE the cookbook. I bought some as gifts, but didn't mail the order before I left because I didn't have any stamps.

Personally, I don't much care for navy beans. Give me (in descending order of preference) Mayacobas, Octobers or Pintos any time. And just don't bother if there's not going to be any cornbread and green onions.
